Edit your Facebook Places privacy settings in following few steps and protect your privacy. In case you think that you’ve nothing to lose by someone knowing where you “Check in”, you may please choose not to read further.
Step 1:
Log on to your Facebook and click on Privacy Settings and Customize settings as highlighted.
Step 2:
Look for “Places you check in to” under “Things I share” section and click on Custom and configure who can see your Check in places.
Step 3:
Look for “Things others share” section and click on Edit Settings in “Friends can check me into Places” and choose either Disable or Enable. If you Enable, your friends can Check you into Places and will appear this post on your Wall as well as your friend’s wall.
